1. Agreement

By using sometimes-gardening.com you accept these terms. If you do not, please stop using the site. We may update these terms; the date above tells you when we last did.

2. Gardening advice is guidance, not a guarantee

Everything here is general information. Gardens differ in soil, drainage, aspect, climate, pest pressure and a dozen other variables we cannot see from here. Following our advice will not guarantee a result, and we accept no liability for plants that fail, crops that disappoint or projects that go sideways.

Some specific cautions:

Edibility and foraging. Never eat a plant, seed, berry or fungus on the basis of a web page. Misidentification can be fatal. Confirm with an expert who can see the specimen.
Chemicals. Pesticide, herbicide and fungicide approvals differ by country and change often. The product label is the legal instruction — it overrides anything we write.
Tools and machinery. Sharp and powered tools cause real injuries. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions and use the protective equipment they specify.
Work at height, tree work and structures. Get a qualified professional. This is not the site for it.
Allergies and toxicity. Many ornamental plants are toxic to people, cats, dogs or livestock. Check before planting where children or animals have access.

Recommendations reflect our honest opinion at the time of writing. Prices, availability and specifications change without notice, and manufacturers sometimes alter a product while keeping the name.
