Say hello, or tell us we got something wrong
We read everything that comes in and answer most of it within a few days. Corrections get answered fastest.
What to include
- A question about growing something
- Tell us your rough location or climate zone, what you are growing it in, and how much sun the spot gets. Those three facts change most answers, and without them we would only be guessing.
- A correction
- These go to the top of the pile. If you can point at the sentence and say what it should be, we will check it and update the page with a dated note.
- An article request
- We keep a running list of what readers ask for, and it drives most of what we publish next. Requests that come in more than once tend to jump the queue.
- Partnerships and advertising
- We do not sell placements in buying guides, sponsored reviews or link insertions into existing articles — please do not ask. Everything else is worth a conversation.
Before you write
A fair number of questions are already answered on the site. It is worth a look at the guides, the search page, or the topic index first — you will get an answer immediately instead of in three days.
We cannot diagnose a sick plant from a description alone with much confidence, and we are not able to give advice that depends on local regulation (tree work, water restrictions, protected species). For those, your regional extension service or horticultural society is a better first call.
Editorial independence
How we handle recommendations, gifted products and commercial approaches is set out in our editorial policy and affiliate disclosure.
